Your critical and creative thinking plays an important role in the success of your job. When you use your unique creativity, you will be able to make good presentations, write good journals and reports. The demand of creativity is rising and you need to ensure that you remain relevant in your line of work. For you to increase creativity at work you need to:

1. Find deep inspiration

What is it that will get your critical and creative juices flowing? Find deep inspiration. People tend to think of creative, unique solutions when they have a passion about a subject. Find the beauty in this subject and you will see its not so hard to create significant output. There are things that will come naturally to you and you need to find out what these are.  Remember that what comes naturally to you may not come as naturally to other people. That is what you need to use to be able to stand out in the work place. What is your muse? There are those that find inspiration in nature, others in music or a particular situation. Regardless of what inspires, you can find a way to funnel this into your work.

2. Have a clear goal and plan

Now that you have discovered your inspiration, it is time to set your goals and what you intend to achieve. If you are working on a new project, you need to figure out what the purpose of the project is and the end results. This will give you a direction on what you need to do at every given time. You need to be careful though not to over think. Yes, you need to find the direction of your project but also you need not put yourself in a box.

3. Always have a reason to be creative

You need to figure out the reason why you are creative. Why does the project matter to you and what is it that you want to get out of it. You know, it easier for you to be creative when you are doing what you want to do Vs. What you have to do. You need to therefore establish the motive of why you are engaging in the task in the first place.

4. Establish a challenge

Most people tend to have their creative juices flowing when they are faced with a challenge. If you are faced with a challenge, you will be inclined to find solution to the problem.
